PRIDE ASTRO HUB PRIVACY POLICY
Effective date: the date Astro Hubs LLC first posts this Privacy Policy on the Platform, shown at the top of this page. Each later update will show its own effective date. Summary. Astro Hubs LLC operates Pride Astro Hub. We collect the information you give us, including your name, contact details, pronouns, and the birth details used to prepare astrology readings, plus information about how you use the Platform. We use it to provide readings, reports, the chatbot, subscriptions, emails, and text messages; to improve the Platform, including by training AI models, which you cannot opt out of at this time (Section 5.3); and to advertise Pride Astro Hub. We share it with the providers who help us run the Platform, including astrology and chatbot providers, hosting providers, payment processors, and app stores. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes (Section 7). The chatbot is not designed for health questions: it declines them, and we do not record the health questions it declines. The Platform is for adults 18 and older and is not offered in the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. Section 9 explains your choices, including how to ask us to access, correct, or delete your information. Closing your account and deleting your information is by email only; the Platform does not yet let you delete your account online or in the app. The full policy follows.
1.WHO WE ARE AND WHAT THIS POLICY COVERS
1.1Who we are. Pride Astro Hub is operated by Astro Hubs LLC (“Astro Hubs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 2510 East Sunset Road, Suite 5, #803, Las Vegas, NV 89120. Contact details are in Section 16.
1.2What this Policy covers. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information through Pride Astro Hub, which includes the websites at prideastrohub.com and prideastro.com, the mobile application named Pride Astro Hub, and the products and services offered through them (together, the “Platform”). It is part of the Pride Astro Hub Terms of Service.
1.3What this Policy does not cover. This Policy does not cover other websites or apps that Astro Hubs may operate under other names, which have their own policies, or third-party websites and services that you reach from the Platform, such as the websites of our payment processors and the app stores.
2.INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect the following categories of information.
2.1Account and profile information. When you create an account, we collect your full name, email address, password, and pronouns. You may also give us your mobile telephone number and postal address.
2.2Your birth details. We collect your own date of birth when you create an account, and we use it to confirm that you are at least 18 (Section 12). To prepare readings, charts, and horoscopes, we also collect your time of birth and place of birth.
2.3Birth details of other people. Some readings can be prepared for another person, such as a partner, friend, or family member. If you request one, we collect the name, birth date, birth time, and birth place you enter for that person. The Terms of Service require you to have that person’s permission, or to be the parent or legal guardian of a minor whose details you enter.
2.4Reading requests, reports, and chatbot conversations. We collect the questions you ask, the readings and reports you request and receive, and the messages you exchange with the chatbot. We do not keep the health questions that the chatbot declines (Section 3).
2.5Purchase information. When you buy a product, subscribe, or choose Split Payments, we collect a record of the transaction, including the product, price, installment schedule, billing dates, and billing name and address. Card and account numbers are entered into and processed by our payment processors or, for purchases in the app, by Apple or Google. We do not receive or store full card or bank account numbers. We receive from our payment processors only transaction records and, where applicable, the last four digits of the card or account used.
2.6Device and usage information. When you use the Platform, we and our analytics providers automatically collect information about your device and your use of the Platform, such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages and features viewed, and the date and time of visits. We use your IP address to determine your approximate location, including to apply the geographic restrictions in Section 13.
2.7Device location in the app. If you allow it in your device settings, the app collects your device’s precise location in order to fill in the place-of-birth field for you. You can change the place of birth that is filled in, and you can turn off location access in your device settings at any time. We use precise device location only to fill in that field, and we do not share it with advertising providers.
2.8Text messages. If you give us your mobile telephone number for text messages, we collect the number, a record of your agreement to receive text messages, and your replies (Section 7).
2.9Communications. When you contact us, we collect the content of your message and your contact details.
2.10Sources. We collect information directly from you, automatically from your device through cookies and similar technologies (Section 8), and from our payment processors, app stores, and analytics providers.
3.HEALTH INFORMATION AND THE CHATBOT
3.1The chatbot is not designed for health questions. Pride Astro Hub offers astrology content for entertainment purposes only. The chatbot is not designed to answer questions about physical or mental health, symptoms, diseases, medications, treatment, reproductive or sexual health, or gender-affirming care, and we ask that you not share health information with it or anywhere else on the Platform.
3.2What the chatbot does with health questions. The chatbot is configured to recognize and decline to answer health questions, including each kind of question described in Section 3.1. Astro Hubs does not record health questions that the chatbot declines: a declined health question is not saved in the chat history or in any other record Astro Hubs keeps, is not used to train or improve any AI model, and is not given to advertising providers, nor is any information about it. To recognize and decline a question, the chatbot passes it to the AI provider that powers the chatbot. That provider keeps a copy of the question for up to 30 days in its abuse-monitoring logs, under its standard terms, and then deletes it.
3.3We do not use birth details as health information. The birth date, birth time, and birth place used for astrology readings are not used to identify anyone’s specific health conditions.
3.4If health information reaches us anyway. If we learn that health information has been saved on the Platform despite Sections 3.1 and 3.2, we will delete it.
4.HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information described in Section 2 to:
(a)create and manage your account, confirm your age, and apply the geographic restrictions in Section 13;
(b)prepare and deliver the readings, reports, charts, horoscopes, and chatbot responses you request;
(c)process purchases, subscriptions, and Split Payment installments, and send confirmations, reminders, and notices about them;
(d)send single-use verification codes and other text messages you agree to receive (Section 7);
(e)respond to your questions and requests;
(f)send newsletters, offers, and other marketing emails, which you can stop at any time (Section 9.2);
(g)measure and analyze how the Platform is used, and improve and develop the Platform;
(h)train and improve AI models, as described in Section 5;
(i)advertise Pride Astro Hub and measure that advertising, as described in Section 8;
(j)protect the security of the Platform, prevent fraud and abuse of promotions, and enforce the Terms of Service; and
(k)comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
5.ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
5.1AI on the Platform. The chatbot and some reports are generated by artificial intelligence systems operated by third-party providers, without review by a person. Other reports are written by a human astrologer. The Terms of Service explain how to tell which is which.
5.2What AI providers receive. To generate a chatbot response or an AI-generated report, we send your request and the information needed to answer it, which may include your birth details, the birth details you entered for another person, and earlier messages in the conversation, to the AI and astrology software providers that power the Platform. The specific providers we use may change over time.
5.3Training and improving AI models. We use your chatbot conversations, the birth details you provide (including birth details you enter for another person), and the readings and reports prepared for you to train and improve AI models. Those models include models owned by Astro Hubs and models of the AI and astrology software providers that power the Platform, which means that providers may use this information to improve their own models. Health questions that the chatbot declines are never used for training (Section 3.2). Using the Platform means that your information may be used in this way. We do not currently offer a way to opt out of this use while continuing to use the Platform. If you do not want your information used to train AI models, do not use the Platform. After your information is deleted under Section 9.4 or Section 10, it is not used for any further training, but information that has already been used to train a model may not be removable from that model.
6.HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION
6.1Categories of recipients. We share the information described in Section 2, on a need-to-know basis, with the following categories of third parties:
(a)AI and astrology software providers that generate chatbot responses, readings, charts, and reports, and that may use the information to improve their models as described in Section 5.3;
(b)independent astrologers who write reports you order;
(c)hosting and cloud providers that store and serve the Platform and its data, currently including Vercel and OpenAI;
(d)developers and technology partners who build and maintain the Platform;
(e)payment processors, currently including Stripe and PayPal, and the Apple App Store and Google Play for purchases in the app;
(f)text message providers, currently including Twilio, which deliver verification codes and other text messages (Section 7);
(g)analytics providers that help us understand how the Platform is used; and
(h)advertising providers, as described in Section 8.
(i)Supabase (database) and Resend (email provider)
6.2Legal and safety reasons. We may disclose information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it, to respond to a subpoena, court order, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Astro Hubs, our users, or others.
6.3Business transfers. If Astro Hubs is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of its business or assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy. Your agreement to receive text messages from us is not sold, rented, or transferred to any other party, including as part of such a transaction.
6.4With your direction. We share information when you ask us to.
6.5No sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information, and we do not receive money or anything else of value from anyone in exchange for personal information. If we later allow advertising on the Platform, we will be paid for showing those advertisements, and we will update this Policy under Section 15 before any personal information is used for that advertising.
7.TEXT MESSAGES (SMS)
7.1What we send. If you give us your mobile telephone number and agree to receive text messages, we send single-use verification codes and messages about your account and orders to that number. We send marketing text messages only if you separately agree to receive them, and agreeing to them is never a condition of buying anything. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
7.2How to stop. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, and you can reply HELP for help. You may also tell us in any other reasonable way, including by emailing us at the address in Section 16. We will confirm your request with one final message and will stop sending text messages within the time the law requires.
7.3Your mobile number and SMS information. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile telephone number, your agreement to receive text messages, and the content of your text messages are used only to send and manage the messages you agreed to receive, and are shared only with the text message providers that deliver them, except that they are also stored by our hosting providers (Section 6.1(c)) and may be disclosed for the legal and safety reasons in Section 6.2.
8.ADVERTISING, COOKIES, AND SIMILAR TECHNOLOGIES
8.1How we advertise. We advertise Pride Astro Hub on other websites and apps. To decide where to show our advertising and to measure it, we give advertising providers only aggregated information, meaning information about groups of users from which individual identities have been removed and that is not linked or reasonably linkable to you or your device, such as the share of our users in an age range, a pronoun group, or a region. We do not give advertising providers your name, contact details, mobile number, date of birth, precise device location, chatbot conversations, or any information that identifies you. No advertising pixel or advertising software development kit that collects information about individual users is installed on the websites or in the app.
8.2Cookies and similar technologies. The Platform and our analytics providers use cookies, software development kits, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. Our analytics providers, and the other third parties whose cookies and similar technologies are used on the Platform, may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites and apps when you use the Platform. When you first visit the websites, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline cookies that are not needed to operate the Platform, and you can change your choice at any time.
8.3Browser and device controls. You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies, and you can limit ad tracking in your device settings. If you refuse cookies, some parts of the Platform may not work.
8.4Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Some browsers send a “Do Not Track” signal or a Global Privacy Control signal. The Platform does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals or Global Privacy Control signals. Because we do not sell personal information or share it with advertising providers for targeted advertising (Section 8.1), those signals do not change how your information is handled.
9.YOUR CHOICES AND RIGHTS
9.1Your account. You can review and update your account and profile information at any time by logging in to your account.
9.2Marketing emails and texts. You can stop receiving newsletters and marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us, and you can stop text messages as described in Section 7.2. We will still send service emails about your account, orders, subscriptions, and installments.
9.3Advertising. If you do not want even aggregated information about your use of the Platform included in the information we give advertising providers, email us at the address in Section 16 with the subject line “Opt Out.” We will act on your request within 15 days after we receive it, and it will apply going forward.
9.4Access, correction, and deletion. You may ask us to confirm whether we hold personal information about you, to give you a copy of it, to correct it, or to delete it, including by deleting your account, by emailing us at the address in Section 16. Requests are made by email only: the Platform does not yet let you delete your account or your information online or in the app. To protect your information, we will verify your request by confirming that it comes from the email address on your account or by asking for other information that matches our records. We will delete your account within 5 business days after we verify a deletion request. If you hold a subscription period you have already paid for, we will delete the account within 5 business days after that period ends, unless your request asks us to delete it right away. We will respond to any other request within 45 days after we receive it. If we need more time, we will tell you why and may extend that period by up to 45 more days. If we cannot fulfill a request, we will tell you why.
9.5What deletion means. When we delete your information, we delete it from our active systems and ask the providers who hold it for us to do the same. We may keep information that we are required to keep by law, that we need to complete a transaction you requested, including the remaining installments of a Split Payment plan, or that we need to resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. Copies in backup systems are deleted in the ordinary course of those systems. Deleting your information does not opt you out of AI training while you continue to use the Platform, and information already used to train an AI model may not be removable from that model (Section 5.3).
9.6Additional rights under state law. Depending on where you live, state law may give you additional rights, such as the right to appeal our decision on a request. Where a state law that applies to Astro Hubs gives you such a right, we will honor it, and our response to your request will explain how to use it.
9.7No discrimination. We will not deny you service or charge you a different price because you exercised a right described in this Section 9.
10.RETENTION
We keep personal information for as long as your account is open and for as long as reasonably necessary after that for the purposes described in this Policy, including to complete transactions and installment plans, meet legal and tax recordkeeping obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. After an account is closed, we keep chat history, birth details, and account information for up to 30 days, and then delete or de-identify them. If you closed your account by email under Section 22.1 of the Terms of Service, or you ask us to delete your information under Section 9.4, the deletion periods in Section 9.4 apply instead.
11.SECURITY
We use administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, including encryption of information in transit, encryption of stored information, access controls, and multi-factor authentication (opt-in). No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information you send us. If we learn of a security breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
12.MINORS
12.1Adults only. The Platform is for adults 18 and older and is not directed to anyone under 18. When you create an account, the Platform asks for your own date of birth and does not allow anyone under 18 to continue. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12.2If we learn a minor has an account. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close the account and delete the personal information associated with it, except for information the law requires us to keep. If you believe that someone under 18 has given us personal information, please contact us at the address in Section 16.
12.3Birth details of minors entered by adults. An adult user may request a reading about a minor child. In that case we collect the child’s name and birth details from the adult, not from the child, and use them only to prepare the reading the adult requested and for the other purposes described in this Policy. The Terms of Service require the adult to be the child’s parent or legal guardian.
13.WHERE THE PLATFORM IS OFFERED AND WHERE INFORMATION IS STORED
13.1Excluded countries. The Platform is not offered to anyone located in any member state of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. The websites and the app are not served to visitors from those locations, and Astro Hubs does not market the Platform there. This Policy is not designed to meet the requirements of the data protection laws of those countries.
13.2Other countries. The Platform is offered to users in the United States and in other countries outside the excluded countries. If you use the Platform from outside the United States, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States and in the other countries described in Section 13.3. Nothing in this Policy takes away any right that the law of the country where you live gives you.
13.3Where information is stored. Your information is stored and processed by our hosting and AI providers, which may store and process it in the United States and in other countries where they or their subcontractors operate. The laws of those countries may not protect personal information in the same way as the laws of the place where you live.
14.STATE-SPECIFIC INFORMATION
14.1Nevada residents. Nevada residents may submit a verified request directing us not to sell their covered information, as Nevada law defines those terms, by emailing us at the address in Section 16 with the subject line “Nevada Opt Out.” We will respond within 60 days after we receive the request, or within up to 30 more days if we notify you that an extension is reasonably necessary. You can review and request changes to your information as described in Sections 9.1 and 9.4.
14.2California residents. Section 8.4 describes how the Platform responds to Do Not Track signals and Global Privacy Control, Section 8.2 describes whether other parties may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites, and Section 8.1 describes what information advertising providers receive.
15.CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
15.1We may update this Policy. Each update shows its effective date. If we make a material change, such as using information for a new purpose, sharing it with a new category of recipient, or changing Section 3, 5, 7, or 8, we will notify you by email and by a notice on the Platform at least 14 days before the change takes effect. We will not use information collected before a material change in a materially different way without first asking for your agreement.
